Week 107

Friday 20th March 2020 to Thursday 26th March 2020

A big queue of stockpilers at Morrisons on Friday morning.

Frankly, two weeks into this pandemic if you are still stockpiling then you’re a fuckin’ amateur.

Had a few nice walks before Boris put the country into lock down.

Priory Pond’s looking good at this time of year

Wood Anemones, a sure sign Spring is here

Campsites all over Europe are closing down and there is no saying when they will reopen. It’s the same in the UK so I doubt I’ll be doing Ben Nevis this year.

As I’m clearly going to be stuck in Reigate for at least a few months I asked my brother who’s currently working in Saudi if I could take over his allotment.

I didn’t realise how big his allotment was, 20m x 10m or how neglected.

Not too sure this was a smart move; I think I have my work cut out

On Monday night Boris put the whole country into lockdown but on Tuesday Morning Michael Gove said you were still allowed to visit your allotment :-D. Thank God I won’t be stuck indoors watching Piers Morgan, Phillip & Holly or Loose Women.

The bloke on YouTube made double digging look easy…

Of course I had some help….

Julie’s in charge of weed watching

It’s not been all digging & weeding…
